Here are my images of beautiful, squishy newborns, and where I answer a lot of the questions you may have about your upcoming newborn session.

Newborn Sessions

Congratulations on Your Growing Family!

Please see below for answers to many of the questions you may have, and then feel free to contact me with any other concerns.

What is the cost, and what does my session include?

Newborn sessions are $200 and include the use of any of my outfits and props. Newborn shoots result in 10-15 beautifully-edited digital images to cherish forever.

When should I book?

The ideal time to photograph newborns is within the first two weeks when they are still sleepy and curly, so it's best to contact me during your pregnancy.

We will then work out a tentative two week window around your due date. After your baby is born we can then whittle your session down to an actual date and time.

If you have already had your baby, please contact me right away to see about immediate availability.

How can I prepare?

After you book and pay for your session you will be sent very clear information on what to bring, what to expect, and tips on how to ready your new family in the days beforehand, so fret not!

How long will it take?

Sessions usually last anywhere between 2 and 4 hours, which allows plenty of time for feeding and cuddling, so your infant stays nice and sleepy.

What does my session include?

Your photoshoot includes the use of any of my props and clothing/accessories. You are guaranteed shots in/on 2 props of your choice, and if your infant allows, up 2-4 poses on the beanbag. After your session, you will receive your own private digital gallery from which you can view your images.

What safety measures do you take to protect my baby?

Your infant's wellbeing is my utmost priority. I have taken workshops with some of the best newborn photographers in the world to better educate myself on how to pose your child so that they feel relaxed and secure. Your baby is the boss, so I will never force your infant into a pose that distresses them, or attempt one that I don't feel comfortable performing. I always ensure that your infant is never left unattended while in a prop or on the beanbag, and that all props are properly padded and weighed down. I have also taken courses on infant CPR.

Clients are not permitted inside my home studio when they are ill or before/after smoking. If someone in my family is sick, we will immediately re-book your session, since it is not worth the risk of exposing your baby to harmful germs. We are a fully vaccinated family, and keep up-to-date with flu shots and the TDAP. Potential clients are also made aware that we have two cats and a dog in case they have allergies (or are just not used to animals); our furballs are all very friendly, but are kept out of the room while sessions are taking place.

When can I access my private online gallery?

Barring any special circumstances, your personalized gallery will become available 2-3 weeks after your session. Once you receive an email with your link and password, you will have 2 weeks to review and order any prints and/or products. After 14 days, your gallery will be closed and there will be a $35 fee to reopen it for another 7 days.
